Police Officer

The City of Dahlonega, a vibrant community of 7,537 full-time residents, is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. This position reports to the Chief of Police. Our department values honor, integrity, and compassion and offers a rewarding environment where officers can serve the community. Our employees are enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service, efficiency, and collaboration. We are constantly striving to improve so we can better serve the public.

Compensation is set by the City’s pay and compensation plan as adopted. Desirable qualifications are (but may not be limited to): Three (3) years or more of work in a sworn law enforcement officer capacity.
