The boat ramp at Lake Zwerner will be closed beginning Thursday, March 12, 2026, while crews work on the pedestrian bridge project in the area. For everyone’s safety, the ramp and immediate work zone will remain closed during construction activities. Conner Memorial Garden was purchased by the City of Dahlonega in 2024.  Located just off the Public Square at the corner of North Chestatee St. and Warwick St. this pocket park offers various ornamental and pollinator plantings, benches, a lending library, and has a water feature.
