**Notice of Paving Operation – June 26th & 27th**

Park Street residents:

Our contractor is ready to put the first course of base and binder on Park Street from the intersection of Arcadia St. to Morrison Moore Parkway.

Paving operations will begin on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 8:00 am and will continue through Friday, June 27, 2025, weather permitting. You may notice equipment in the area earlier than the planned start time as the paving crew arrives and prepares to start work.

You may experience delays in traversing the street and your driveways. Every effort will be made to mitigate such delays.

Dahlonega’s Cemeteries

Did you know that Dahlonega owns two cemeteries?  Mount Hope and Dahlonega Memorial Park.  The city, as owner of the cemeteries, has the responsibility for their upkeep and maintenance, including mowing grass, trimming hedges, and repairing headstones as outlined in the City’s Code of Ordinances. The city is not responsible for any additions placed on or around headstones, like vases, as those are not part of the original installation and not guaranteed to withstand the elements. If you notice any needed maintenance in either cemetery, please contact City Hall to request a work order.
