Georgia Mountains Regional Commission invites public input for update of the Lumpkin County Comprehensive Plan

The Georgia Mountains Regional Commission (GMRC) is assisting Lumpkin County with their Comprehensive Plan, the State required document that helps shape and coordinate local work programs for the local governments. 

As part of this process there will be public meetings and opportunities for public input, all open to residents from throughout the county.  The next scheduled meetings for this process are listed below:

October 19, 2026, 6:00 p.m. at the Lumpkin County Library

56 Mechanicsville Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533

AND

October 27, 2026, 6:00 p.m. at Dahlonega City Hall

465 Riley Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533
