The boat ramp at Lake Zwerner will be closed beginning Thursday, March 12, 2026, while crews work on the pedestrian bridge project in the area. For everyone’s safety, the ramp and immediate work zone will remain closed during construction activities. Lake Zwerner Boat Ramp Impacted by Pedestrian Bridge Construction

Beginning May 5, expect to see closures of selected areas of parking and the picnic area at the Lake Zwerner boat ramp.  These closures will facilitate construction of the Morrison Moore Pedestrian Bridge & Sidewalk.  They will remain in effect for up to 18 months.  At this time, the boat ramp is open for use, although delays may be experienced and future temporary closures of the ramp may be necessary.
