Welcome to the City of Dahlonega’s new website!

November 25, 2024

Welcome to the City of Dahlonega’s new website!  It is exciting to bring a new level of communication and listening to our community.  You may wonder why a new website was needed.  Our previous website was built in a different era of technology.  Changes and updates were extremely difficult and time-consuming.  As a matter of fact, there were things that just couldn’t be changed!

We welcome this more flexible new means of communication.  Over time, you will see additional functions being added for self-service.  We will still maintain our City’s strong commitment to in-person service and plan to maintain the warm welcome you receive when you visit City Hall.  We are grateful to our front desk staff who can help citizens with many different types of requests.

As with almost any technology project, there may be areas that need improvement.  We’ve been discovering them on our own so far, but your feedback on any deficits or broken links would be more than welcome.  You can use the “Contact” feature to provide feedback.

Thank you to the team that put a lot of effort into making the idea a reality!  Shout out to City staff Julie Fullwood and Allison Martin who contributed to this project.
